Photojournalist and filmmaker

After studying Physics and Mechanics, Lou BARON moved towards studying Photojournalism, Capture and Aerial Images from which she graduated at the top of her class. She istoday in Professional Degree IN INFORMATION PROFESSIONS: JOURNALISM AND PRESS PROFESSIONS at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia.

Member of the collective of international filmmakers, Les RED EYES COOL, she is also the photography manager of the FILM SPRING OPEN FRANCE association which representsnted in France the international foundation FILM SPRING OPEN founded by the director of photography Slawomir IDZIAK (Harry Potter 5). She notably produced a report on the Canigó flame in Catalan countries, on the Boutique Solidarité Pyrénées of the Abbé Pierre Foundation in Perpignan and a report on the precariousness of the peoples of the Maa language in the rift valley in Kenya. The latter was selected by the OFF Perpignan Festival 2021 edition and awarded by Puressentiel “Nature and Environment” of the Grand Prix Paris Match du Photoreportage Edition 2021. She also carries out image education workshops for the International Center of Photojournalism.
